Everything published on coin-glass.app is journalism about data tools, written from the outside, using public sources. It is not advice, it is not official, and it is not live.
If you read one paragraph, read this: we are not CoinGlass, we cannot help with anyone's account, nothing here tells you what to trade, and leveraged derivatives can cost you more than you put in.
No affiliation with CoinGlass or any exchange
Glass Almanac is an independent publication. We are not CoinGlass. We are not Coinglass Technology Co., Limited, the entity named on the CoinGlass app listings. We are not an exchange, a broker, an introducing agent, a custodian, a wallet provider or a data vendor, and we are not a partner, reseller or authorised representative of any of them.
The official CoinGlass website is coinglass.com. If you need support for a CoinGlass account, that is the only place to go. We have no access to any account there.
"CoinGlass" and all other product names, logos and trademarks appearing here belong to their respective owners. We use them solely to identify the products we describe and to comment on them. Their appearance implies no association with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from their owners. Screenshots of third-party interfaces are reproduced for commentary and credited.
Nothing here is financial advice
Nothing on this site is investment, financial, trading, legal or tax advice, or an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. We hold no financial services licence in any jurisdiction and are not registered with any financial regulator. We describe how tools work; we never tell anyone what to do with money.
Leveraged derivatives can lose more than you deposit
Perpetual futures, futures and options are high-risk instruments. Leverage multiplies losses as readily as gains, positions can be liquidated in seconds during a cascade, and on some products and venues losses can exceed the amount deposited. Past market behaviour tells you nothing reliable about future behaviour.
Accuracy, dating and modelled data
Every figure we publish is quoted from a named source and was accurate as at the date printed beside it. We run no live feeds. Derivatives data changes by the second, and pricing, app versions and product features change without notice, so a figure correct on 27 July 2026 may be wrong today.
The distinction that matters most here is between measured and modelled data. A measured figure is one an exchange or index actually reported. A modelled figure is an estimate produced by an algorithm from assumptions that are usually undisclosed.
Liquidation heatmaps are estimates
Liquidation heatmaps and liquidation maps are modelled, not measured. They are derived from open interest plus assumed leverage distributions, not from any exchange's liquidation engine. Exchanges do not publish per-position entry prices or leverage, so no such product can know where real liquidations sit.
We try hard to be accurate and correct errors promptly, but we give no guarantee of accuracy, completeness or timeliness. If you find a mistake, write to contact@coin-glass.app with the URL and a source. Our publishing principles explain how corrections are handled.
Affiliate and sponsorship disclosure
Some outbound links here are sponsored. If you follow one and open an account or make a purchase, we may receive a commission or referral fee, at no extra cost to you. That is how the site is paid for.
Sponsored links are labelled where they appear and placed in fixed positions by our build system. No commercial arrangement, past or present, has ever bought a mention, changed a rating, softened a criticism, or given anyone sight of a page before publication. A sponsored venue is never described as official or connected to CoinGlass, because it is neither.
Third-party links and content
We link to exchanges, documentation, regulators, app stores, research and news coverage. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, security, terms or privacy practices. A link is a citation, not a recommendation. Once you leave coin-glass.app, the destination's terms govern.
No warranty, and limitation of liability
This site and everything on it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glass Almanac, its operator and its contributors accept no liability for loss or damage of any kind arising from use of, or reliance on, this site. That expressly includes trading losses, liquidations, missed opportunities, lost profits, lost data, and any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, whether or not we were told such loss was possible. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Where you live matters
Access to crypto derivatives is not the same everywhere. Leveraged crypto products are restricted, licence-gated or prohibited for retail users in a number of countries, and rules on marketing, leverage limits and tax treatment differ sharply. Nothing here is an offer of a product where it may not lawfully be offered.
You are responsible for knowing and following the rules where you live. A description of a platform's features is not confirmation that the platform is available or lawful in your country. If you are unsure, take advice from someone qualified and licensed in your own jurisdiction. Our terms of use and privacy policy apply alongside this page.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the official CoinGlass website?
No. This is Glass Almanac, an independent editorial guide published at coin-glass.app. The official CoinGlass website is coinglass.com. We have no corporate, commercial or editorial relationship with CoinGlass or Coinglass Technology Co., Limited, we receive nothing from them, and nothing here should be read as their statement or as carrying their endorsement.
Are the figures on this site live?
No. Every figure is a quotation from a named source, accurate on the date printed beside it. Derivatives data moves by the second: open interest, funding rates and liquidation totals can change materially within a single session, and pricing pages change without notice. Treat any number here as a dated observation to be re-checked at the source before it informs a decision.
Do sponsored links change what you write?
No. Some outbound links are sponsored and may earn us a commission at no additional cost to the reader. They are labelled where they appear. No commercial arrangement has ever bought a mention, altered an assessment, softened a criticism or given an advertiser sight of a draft. Where we criticise something, that criticism stands regardless of who is paying for placement.
Can I use a liquidation heatmap to place a stop-loss?
We will not tell anyone where to place a stop, and we would point out that heatmap levels are modelled rather than measured. They are inferred from open interest and assumed leverage distributions, not read from an exchange risk engine, and CoinGlass itself states that actual liquidation amounts may be lower than the levels displayed. Independent write-ups put typical deviation in the low single-digit percentages.
