Terms of use, written to be read

These terms cover reading, quoting and reusing anything published on coin-glass.app. They are short on purpose. Where a clause has real consequences for you, it says so plainly rather than hiding inside a paragraph of Latin.

Disclaimer — not the official siteThis is not the official CoinGlass website.Glass Almanac is an independent, unaffiliated guide. We are not CoinGlass, Coinglass Technology Co., Limited, or any exchange. The official site is coinglass.com. Every exact figure we publish names the source it came from.

These terms govern your use of coin-glass.app, the site published under the name Glass Almanac. They are a contract, but no contract has to be unreadable, so this one is written in ordinary sentences. The short version: read freely, quote us properly, do not republish our pages wholesale, do not hammer the server, and understand that nothing here is advice.

Acceptance of these terms

By loading any page here you accept these terms, together with our privacy policy and disclaimer, which form part of them. If you do not accept them, stop using the site. There is nothing to sign and no account to close.

What this site is

Glass Almanac publishes free editorial content about crypto derivatives data tools. That is the whole product. There is no account system, no subscription, no software, no data feed and no service anyone pays us for. We execute nothing, hold nothing, and act for no one.

We may change, move, rewrite or delete any page at any time, and may take the site offline without notice. Nobody is entitled to a page staying up.

Quoting and reuse

You are welcome to read, print, bookmark and share our pages, and to quote us in your own work. What we ask in return is credit.

  • Quote a reasonable extract, attribute it to Glass Almanac, and link to the page you took it from.
  • Do not present our words as your own, or strip the attribution when reposting.
  • Do not alter a quotation so its meaning changes, particularly around risk or affiliation.

Beyond that you need written permission: to republish a page in full or substantially in full, to translate and publish it, to sell or paywall our content, or to include our text in a dataset used to train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine-learning model. That last one is not a technicality, and asking is free: contact@coin-glass.app.

Scraping and automated access

Automated access is not banned outright. Search engines, archives and reasonable research crawlers are welcome, provided they identify themselves honestly and respect robots.txt.

What is not allowed is automated access that degrades the service for other people: aggressive request rates, parallel crawling of the whole site, bypassing rate limits, or any attempt to interfere with availability.

Intellectual property

The text, tables, diagrams and page designs here are ours, or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. The Glass Almanac name and logo are ours.

Third-party material is different. Screenshots of other companies' interfaces, product names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. We reproduce them for identification, criticism, review and commentary, credited to their source. None of that implies affiliation or endorsement, and nothing here transfers any right in their marks.

How you may use the site

Use the site lawfully and do not attack it. You agree not to attempt unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure, probe its security, introduce malicious code, impersonate Glass Almanac, frame or mirror the site in a way that misleads people about who published it, or use it unlawfully.

Nothing here is advice

Every page here is information about how data tools work. None of it is investment, legal or tax advice, and none of it recommends trading, leverage, or any platform. Decisions you make with money are your own. The disclaimer has the detail.

Warranty, liability and indemnity

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the content is accurate, complete or current, that the site will be available or error-free, or that it is fit for any purpose. Figures are dated observations from named sources.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no liability for loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site. That includes trading losses and liquidations, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, and any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for personal injury caused by negligence.

If your use of the site in breach of these terms causes a third-party claim against us, you agree to indemnify us for the reasonable costs that result.

We link out to exchanges, documentation, regulators, app stores and news coverage, and some outbound links are sponsored, as disclosed on the disclaimer page. We do not control any destination and take no responsibility for its content, security, terms or privacy practices.

Changes, severability and governing law

We may revise these terms. The current version carries a "last updated" date, shown on this page as 27 July 2026, and continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept it. We do not notify readers individually, having no mailing list.

If a clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the offending clause is read as narrowly as necessary to make it valid. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.

These terms are interpreted under the law of the operator's place of establishment, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of that place. We decline to name a jurisdiction rather than invent one; if you need it formally, ask at contact@coin-glass.app. Nothing here removes a protection that consumer law in your own country gives you and that cannot be contracted away.
